Here at Utopia, we found that because our clients were happy with our tiling services they would ask us to fit their wood/laminate flooring.  This turned out to be a very successful addition to our business and we have now decided to offer this service to all our potential new clients.

What is Laminate Flooring ?

•  Laminate flooring is a type of flooring made of a laminate material which is made to look like natural products such as wood flooring, tile, and natural stone.  There are so many colours and looks to choose from. 

Laminate floors are hardwearing, require low maintenance and complement any style of home.

•  This type of flooring is ideal for ground floor living areas and hallways.  However we do not recommend the use of this type of flooring in the bathroom or kitchen due to a high risk of possible water spillage, which may cause the boards to swell if they absorb water.  

 If it is your requirement to fit laminate flooring in the bathroom or kitchen there are products out there that are made for such an environment.

• Laminate floors are very easy to clean making them a very popular choice for those clients who have animals or have allergic reactions to dust because they are much easier to clean than a carpet.
